I have been a native English speaker my whole life with experience an "English as a second language" teacher!

I have been teaching public middle school for two years now and have accumulated a lot of experience working with students who speak a different native language than English. Not being able to communicate effectively with peers and teachers impacts a student's experience greatly, which is why I feel it is so important to focus on learning the English language as a foundation before learning all other subjects.
