Konnichiwa! (hello!) I'm Rie and I'm a native Japanese speaker living in the UK. I have more than 10 years' teaching experience ranging from beginners to advanced students.

I offer Japanese tuition for all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced students. Whether you're looking to learn Japanese to go on holiday, for business, to take Japanese language exams or simply read Japanese manga I can help. In particular I offer:

• Fun, flexible and individually tailored lessons

• Over 10 years of teaching experience

• Lessons covering grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading and writing (according to each student’s needs)

• Casual Japanese conversation practice for more advanced learners

• Experienced in GCSE Japanese, with clear understanding of exam formats, assessment criteria and effective preparation strategies; includes speaking examiner experience

• Structured JLPT preparation (N5–N3), with support in vocabulary, kanji, grammar, reading and listening, tailored to each learner’s level and goals to help ensure confident exam success

・Each lesson is 50 minutes slot.

I'm originally from Nagasaki, Japan and have been living and working in the UK for nearly 15 years. I have taught Japanese for the past 10 years and have students of all levels.
