Chose a focus on history as it’s a core discipline, I can support in developing your knowledge of a range of humanities subjects

As an educator I have worked in permanent and supply, full-time and part-time, paid and voluntary roles, and with ages ranging from the beginning of early years up to late secondary. I’ve even explored more outdoor educational settings in Forest/Eco-School training capacities and as a volunteer with Scouts and Wildlife Trusts groups.

My broad general knowledge of the humanities subjects captures not only this wide range of experience but my passion for learning - as the most sincere/self-motivated students convey the most sincerity in their role as teachers too, and you’ll see this in my fascination with disciplines ranging from history (early modern history was my specialism and best A-level grade, though my knowledge includes other periods as well as natural history and archaeology) and philosophy (my bachelors degree) but also with fields covered by common GCSEs such as politics/citizenship studies, human geography, classics and mythology, sociology, and psychology.
