I am very patient, focused on details and practicality. These three elements are key to help someone learn a foreign language.

Prior to moving to Scotland, I took an IELTS exam at the British Council in Lisbon. This required intensive studies and demanded my focus to improve my knowledge on the English language more than I had learnt by then. I will use practical examples, focus on pronunciation and word association; learning how to vocalise a word correctly is half the battle to knowing how to apply it to different contexts, and by complementing this with practical word associations will aid with the construction of sentences; this will also be a significant link to reading.
