My lessons are structured, supportive and designed to help you learn English in a clear, practical way. As a UK-qualified solicitor (2003) with a career built on precise communication, I understand how to break down language so it becomes easy to use in everyday life. I’m not a trained tutor, but I have spent many years mentoring newly qualified lawyers, guiding students entering the profession, and volunteering in a primary school, where I support children who need extra help with reading and language. I also work with women who are new to the UK and learning English for the first time, which has taught me patience, cultural sensitivity and the importance of building confidence.

Your lessons will follow a simple, effective format. We begin with conversation to warm up your speaking skills, then move into focused exercises on vocabulary, grammar or pronunciation depending on your level. I use real-world examples including emails, messages, everyday situations, all so you learn English you can use immediately. For beginners, we concentrate on essential phrases, simple structures and confidence building. For intermediate learners, we work on clarity, sentence flow and expanding vocabulary. For advanced learners or professionals, I help refine writing, improve communication style and strengthen English for work or study.

Every session is one-to-one, calm, encouraging and tailored to your goals. My aim is to help you learn English in a way that feels achievable, enjoyable, relaxed and genuinely useful.
