Doug tutored my son for 3 months prior to his physics A-Level. He was between a B and C, requiring a B to secure his university place. Doug taught my daughter A-level Physics online last year. She had been working at a high grade C close to a B. We chose to get some extra tuition in the hope of securing a B grade, she got an A! Doug has been an amazing find for our son, year 11. He started working with him regularly in February when he was a fairly strong student and had just got a 6 in his mock exam. He got a 9 in his GCSE. What more to say! Our boy worked hard, and we had felt the teaching standard at his school wasn’t amazing, but Doug took his base talent and hard work and turned him into a 9. Our son talked about his Physics ‘before and after Doug’. He is patient, engaging, talented, and manages to communicate the content in the right way.
