I have a background in psychology through my BSc Psychology. Alongside my studies, I have worked as a Mental Health Support Worker and volunteered in healthcare and education settings, which developed my communication, safeguarding, and mentoring skills. These experiences have taught me how to adapt explanations to suit different learning needs, provide encouragement, and create a positive learning environment. My teaching approach is student-centred: I begin by assessing the learner’s goals and current understanding, then adapt lessons to their preferred style of learning. I use clear explanations, examples, and interactive discussions to make complex topics easier to understand. I also encourage active engagement through questions and practice exercises, helping students to apply their knowledge confidently. Above all, I aim to create a supportive and motivating atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
