I am a patient, supportive and academically focused tutor with a strong background in English language and literature.

I bring a combination of academic expertise and practical teaching experience. n my lessons, I focus on building a solid foundation in grammar, reading and writing, while also helping students develop confidence and independent learning skills. I tailor each session to the student’s goals — whether that’s homework support, exam preparation, or general improvement — and I use a mix of explanation, guided practice and constructive feedback. My aim is always to make English feel approachable, engaging and achievable for every learner. hold a joint honours degree in English and French and an MA in English Studies, and I currently work as a proofreader and copyeditor, which means I work closely with language, clarity and structure every day. I also have classroom experience teaching English in a French school, as well as teaching French, German and history at secondary and sixth‑form level. This has given me a strong understanding of how to explain concepts clearly, break down complex ideas, and support students with different needs and abilities.
