Hello!
I am an English language / literature tutor who recognises how important the subject is for building skills for later life, and not only will I push the student to achieve their highest potential, but also help to build the permanent skills of analysis and critical thinking.

I am a first class honours university graduate of English highly passionate about providing the encouragement and support needed for the subject. I hope that students will enjoy my lessons just as much as I enjoy making them!

I will encourage students to be interactive in my lessons, as memory and skills are built through active use. However, if students do not feel comfortable with answering questions immediately, I can help to build up their confidence until they feel comfortable to do so. I can also provide optional resources (free of charge) for active learning, which students can use to practice in their free time, and help with their learning.

In order to ensure that my teaching is right for the student, I will offer a free taster that will go through the students' strengths and weaknesses, the texts they are studying, and anything else they would like to talk about.
