Friendly and understanding Biology tutor with a degree in Biomedical sciences and a Masters in cancer

I have a 1st class degree in biomedical sciences, and a masters in cancer. I have tutored over 20 students of all abilities over 3 years.

I have a passion for biology and would love to find a way to help you understand it more easily. I know myself it can be difficult to understand some of the processes at first but when you really break them down and go through things slowly, you will start to find them much more interesting. I think its useful to find new ways of mapping pathways and processes out to actively understand the content, this is much more valuable for your learning and revision than just writing notes and not actually fully understanding the work. My lessons are very interactive, I'm easy to talk to, patient and understanding.

I have now taught many lessons with Tutorful therefore I am experienced and have many useful materials. I am also happy to look at your answers and mark them to give you feedback outside of the lessons.

I have separate and targeted resources for both OCR and AQA exam boards.

I am currently taking students on on a casual basis particularly for intensive courses (a few lessons a week for a month or so) as due to other work commitments I may not be able to tutor for the whole academic year (23/24). Online lessons only
