I am a highly qualified English tutor holding both a BA in English Literature and an MA in Creative Writing, combining my deep academic knowledge with a supportive, patient approach to help students of all ages build confidence, master exam techniques, and find joy in reading and writing.

I am a very friendly, approachable person who has always enjoyed and worked very well with children and young adults. I am well-versed at building trust, mutual respect and open communication with students of all ages, and have worked with children age 3-18+

I have over a decade of experience supporting students in various educational settings - as a college learning coach, SEN teaching assistant, house parent and substitute teacher in a British boarding school in Thailand, and as the head of boarding at an international college in Cambridge. I have also supported young people at the start of their careers, supported adults in my work as a life coach, and parenting coach.

I loved reading as a child and credit my love of my books for my education. I came top in my SATs, passed the 11+ entrance exam to grammar school, achieved 11 GCSEs at grades A-C, A Levels at Sixth Form, BA English Literature and MA Creative Writing. I am a published author of a non-fiction title, with several novels, a collection of short stories and a script waiting in the wings!
