My name is Mustafa and I am currently in my final year of Politics and International Relations at UCL. I specialise in tutoring History at both GCSE and A Level, and I also teach English at GCSE level. I have always had a deep interest in the humanities, and this passion helped me achieve an A star in A Level History with 39 out of 40 on my coursework. I chose to tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping students make sense of subjects that can sometimes feel overwhelming or abstract. I remember what it was like sitting these exams myself not long ago, which means I understand exactly where students struggle, what examiners are looking for and how to build the skills that lead to real academic confidence. My approach is warm, patient and highly personalised. I work hard to create an environment where students feel respected, supported and comfortable asking questions. I believe that every student learns differently, and I take time to understand their needs so that I can tailor lessons to them. Whether a student needs help structuring essays, understanding difficult historical events or building motivation, I guide them step by step and at a pace that suits them. I have experience working with students from all backgrounds, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other learning differences. I take pride in being calm, adaptable and approachable, and my aim is always to help students feel capable and confident in their own abilities.
