My lessons always start with getting to know you. In our first session, we’ll look at your strengths, the areas you find harder, and the exact syllabus you’re studying, so I know how to support you properly. From there, lessons are planned step by step towards your exam, with each session focusing on a specific topic whether that’s poetry analysis, essay structure, or making sense of Shakespeare. I’ll share examples of my own work to show you what top-level answers look like, and I can set short quizzes or homework if that helps you feel more confident between lessons. My aim is to make English feel manageable, supportive, and a little less intimidating.
