I am a music tutor with 6 years of experience, specialising in voice lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. I am very adaptable and can cater to anyone, whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced musician, I'm happy to help. I hold a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Music) from the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), where I received the Best Recitalist Award in 2023. Alongside my contemporary training, I have a background in musical theatre and regularly explore jazz through my live performances and songwriting, allowing me to confidently teach students across contemporary, musical theatre and jazz styles while adapting to each student's interests and goals. This breadth of experience allows me to adapt my teaching to suit each student's interests, goals and strengths while ensuring they develop strong, transferable vocal technique. Alongside teaching, I maintain an active career as an independent artist and professional performer under the name PERSIA. I was honoured to receive the 2026 WAM Song of the Year Award in the R&B/Hip-Hop category, reflecting my continued commitment to artistic excellence and creative development. Managing my own music career enables me to bring current industry knowledge into my teaching and provide students with insight into creative expression, songwriting and career guidance. I approach every lesson with patience, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for music, creating a supportive environment where students can build confidence and develop their own artistic voice.
