Over the past six years, I have provided personalised singing and music tuition across a range of educational settings, working with adults, and students from primary school through to secondary levels. Whether you're a complete beginner or a professional, I am happy and able to teach anyone and adjust my lessons to cater to your needs.
A key focus of my teaching is developing healthy, sustainable vocal technique. I understand the importance of proper vocal warm-ups in maintaining vocal health and use the piano throughout every lesson to support warm-up exercises, ear training and pitch accuracy, drawing on my keyboard skills to provide musical guidance and accompaniment.
Alongside teaching, I maintain an active career as an independent artist and professional performer under the name PERSIA. I was honoured to receive the 2026 WAM Song of the Year Award in the R&B/Hip-Hop category, reflecting my continued commitment to artistic excellence and creative development. Managing my own music career enables me to bring current industry knowledge into my teaching and provide students with insight into creative expression, songwriting and career guidance.
I am confident teaching students of all ages, abilities and musical backgrounds, from beginners to advanced singers preparing for examinations or auditions. I approach every lesson with patience, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for music, creating a supportive environment where students can build confidence and develop their own artistic voice. I'm excited to inspire the next generation of musicians, and am eager to meet new students, so please do get in touch!
