I am a supportive and academically strong tutor offering GCSE History tuition, with a focus on building clear understanding and strong written argument, as well as confident exam performance. Having achieved top grades at GCSE (9) and holding an A* predicted grade in History, as well as experience through one-to-one mentoring and tutoring programmes at St Paul’s School, I tailor lessons to each student’s ability and areas for improvement. I place particular emphasis on exam technique, including how to structure paragraphs, evaluate evidence, and directly target GCSE mark schemes. Lessons are well-structured but interactive, combining clear explanations, discussion, and regular exam-style practice. My aim is to help students develop both historical understanding and the skills needed to approach essays and source questions with confidence and clarity.
