With over ten years of teaching and tutoring experience, I bring deep subject expertise and proven exam insight to every lesson. I am a former Head of History and currently serve as a Head of Sixth Form, giving me a strong understanding of both academic success and the wider demands placed on students at GCSE and A Level.
I specialise in GCSE and A Level History and have five years’ experience as a Pearson examiner. This means I don’t just teach the content—I teach students how to succeed in the exam, understand what examiners are really looking for, and avoid the common pitfalls that cost marks.
My subject specialisms include Medicine Through Time, Crime and Punishment, Civil Rights and the Vietnam War, Germany 1918–89, Superpower Relations, and Twentieth-Century Spain. Across these topics, I support students in mastering content, developing strong historical argument, and refining exam technique.
