I know what it feels like to struggle with schoolwork. At GCSE, I was predicted only 4s and 5s, but through hard work and the right strategies, I only achieved 7s, 8s, and 9s — including 9s in all of the subjects I now tutor. I went on to study A-level Biology and A-level Chemistry, achieving an A* in both subjects, which consequently secured me the highest attainment award at the end of Year 13. Today, I’m a medical student at UCL, where I performed in the top 20% of my cohort in my first year. Things do change — I’m proof that with the right support, progress is always possible.

What made the difference for me wasn’t just effort — it was learning how to study smarter. Over the years, I’ve developed strategies that turned my own grades around, and now I wish to help my students apply these same techniques to reach the grades they truly deserve.

As a tutor, I believe patience and empathy are just as important as knowledge. I never rush or get frustrated if something needs to be explained again. My focus is on building confidence and understanding, so every student feels supported and capable of improvement.
