Starting A-Level Chemistry (Year 12) in September? Small Group with 1:1 Support for students aiming for A/A

GCSE to A-Level is a big jump. Many strong GCSE students struggle early. I help them keep momentum and build the foundations needed for top grades.

I have 15+ years of experience, a First Class Chemistry degree from Queen Mary University of London, and a Master’s in Green Chemistry from the University of York (scholarship awarded). I specialise in OCR and AQA.

My hybrid programme combines small group teaching (max 6) with regular 1:1 support. Each group is exam-board specific.

Each session focuses on:
* Securing core A-Level concepts from the start
* Learning how mark schemes really work
* Applying knowledge to exam-style questions

Students also get:
* Weekly homework to reinforce learning
* Recorded lessons for revision
* 1:1 support to target gaps

I provide regular progress updates to parents

Ope really helped me with some key organic concepts and also helping me answer questions that i have found difficult. She broke it down well and helped me understand the key ideas. I did see improvement in my understanding over time. However, at times some topics weren’t explained as clearly as I needed, which meant I occasionally had to revisit the material on my own. Overall, it was still a useful experience, and I’m grateful for the time and effort put into the sessions.
