I am an experienced Head of Chemistry and specialist science tutor, providing expert tuition in A-level Chemistry and GCSE Science (Triple and Combined) across both UK and international specifications.
With over 15 years of teaching experience and 10+ years as a specialist examiner, I combine deep subject expertise with extensive knowledge of exam requirements. My teaching helps students develop a secure understanding of key concepts, strengthen problem-solving skills, and master the exam techniques needed to achieve their target grades.
I teach all major examination boards, including:
A-level Chemistry: AQA, Edexcel, OCR A, OCR B, Edexcel International A-level (IAL) and Cambridge International (CAIE)
GCSE Science: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Eduqas, Edexcel International GCSE and Cambridge IGCSE
I offer both bespoke one-to-one tuition and small group teaching, with lessons carefully tailored to individual needs. Following an initial consultation, I identify strengths, address gaps in understanding, and create a clear plan for progress. Sessions are engaging, challenging and focused on building long-term confidence and independence.
My students consistently make excellent progress and many have secured places on highly competitive university courses, including Medicine, Dentistry and Engineering.
Students have access to a comprehensive range of resources, including PowerPoint lessons, structured worksheets, revision booklets and extensive past-paper materials. Regular feedback, progress monitoring and guidance on independent study ensure that learning continues effectively beyond each lesson.

Fees: Small group tuition for £100/month for 4 x 1hr sessions. One-to-one tuition from £70 per hour.
