I give private lessons to individuals that require additional support outside the standard school curriculum.

Through studying English Language and Literature at A Level, I developed a strong understanding of linguistic frameworks, including lexis, grammar, phonology and discourse analysis. I gained the ability to analyse how language is shaped by context, audience and purpose, and how meaning is constructed in both spoken and written forms. The course strengthened my understanding of language acquisition and change, enabling me to explain how English develops across time and social groups. I refined my analytical precision, learning to apply subject terminology accurately and to break down complex language features in a clear and accessible way.
