Gaming orientated tutor who sees students as players

I teach history by treating students as active participants, not passive listeners. I like to find out what already interests them — films, games, politics, sport, technology, family history, anything useful — and use that as a way into the subject. History makes much more sense when it feels connected to real people, real choices and stories that matter.
