French and History GCSE tutor providing lessons to students of all ages

I am a first-year BA History student at UCL and fully bilingual in French and English. Learning two languages simultaneously has given me a strong understanding of how languages are learned and memorised, which directly informs my teaching approach. I have experience working with children aged 4–9 as a French teaching assistant, as well as providing one-to-one mentoring in History and French for GCSE students at my former school.
I am passionate about making learning engaging and accessible, and I firmly believe that enjoyment is essential for meaningful progress. My lessons are structured around brief interactive recaps of previous lessons using quizzes, followed by guided work and explanations on the student’s chosen topic. I also offer optional homework and provide clear summary sheets after each session to reinforce what has been covered.
