Advert description
A passionate Chemistry educator and assessment specialist with 28 years of classroom and curriculum experience across IGCSE, AS/A Level, and IB DP frameworks.
My classes are built on the belief that Chemistry is best understood as a story — one that connects the microscopic world of atoms to the everyday experiences students already inhabit. I use narratives and analogies to anchor abstract concepts, making the invisible tangible before introducing formal theory.
Central to my practice is a commitment to logical thinking and conceptual clarity. Rather than presenting Chemistry as a set of facts to be memorised, I guide students through the reasoning behind each concept — why reactions happen, what drives equilibrium, how structure determines behaviour. This approach has consistently helped students move beyond surface-level recall to genuine, transferable understanding.
