English tutor with journalism background

With five years in journalism under my belt, I offer a unique perspective on tutoring. I’ve spent the past half decade working at various newspapers across the central belt of Scotland, having moved there from London in 2017. I’ve turned freelance this year, and have picked up work as a freelancer for newspapers and have done editing work for a project by artists and researchers at a German university that involved editing texts and webpages for their website launch.

I'm now looking to share my English Language skills with you!

I have previously taught English to people from other countries, having trained as an English language teacher following my university studies and gaining a CertTesol from Trinity College London. I taught adults at the TEFL Academy in Bloomsbury Square, London, and also taught secondary-school aged pupils from all over Europe at a summer school at Roehampton University.

I also write fiction, and am hoping to publish my first novel soon. This is one of the joys of studying English, and I hope to share that joy with you.
