I have a native level of English language because I have resided in the UK since birth. I can help students with their SPaG

Last July, I graduated from Cardiff University with a 2:1 in Religion and Theology (BA).
I am currently completing my Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) at the University of Leicester. At the end of June, I will qualify as a Secondary Teacher of Religious Studies and I am very excited to start my career.

The assignments throughout both of my degrees have been essay based, therefore I am confident in my ability to write at an exceptional level. Alongside this, the PGCE has provided me with excellent knowledge of pedagogy. I plan tailor-made lessons that engage my students and ensure that they get the most out of the time we spend together.

I feel it is important to mention that both Religious Studies and English require the same literacy and oracy skills. I believe that the knowledge and skills that I have gained from completing my degrees would make me a great teacher of English as a foreign language. I am excited to start!
