Hi! I’m Stella, an artist based in Glasgow. I have studied painting in Glasgow School of Art, and I can teach anyone who’s eager to develop their artistic skills

I have experience in art tutoring and have taught both children and adults. My main focus is to make art fun for everyone by helping my students create their own visual language.

My teaching approach begins with engaging exercises that encourage experimentation and help students overcome initial fear, allowing them to approach art with confidence.

Following this, I guide students through essential techniques and fundamentals, teaching them how to use brushes and materials properly, understand colour theory, develop drawing skills, and learn how to observe and measure accurately.

I avoid prescribing a single way of working, instead encouraging students to explore their own visual language, their personal way of seeing, and their reasons for making art, free from rigid expectations or categories.
