First-year English Literature and Psychology student at the University of Glasgow with experience teaching GCSE English Literature and English as a second language to both adults and kids

I will tailor lessons to each individual in a way that builds on their strengths and supports them where they are weak. Additionally, I will ensure each concept is understood before moving forward in order to build a strong foundation to work upon. I will occasionally ask the student to summarize the concepts back to me to make certain that their understanding is clear. I will also provide summary notes at the end of each lesson for the student to consult in the future. My favorite thing about English Literature and Language is that it teaches you to think individually and come up with your own interpretation rather than blindly following the majority. I hope to bring my passion into my lessons, making them fun and engaging for my students.
