Qualified Piano Tutor in York Teaching Beginners to Advanced with Master’s Degree

I offer personalised piano lessons designed to build both solid technique and expressive musicality. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s goals, whether that’s learning for enjoyment, preparing for exams, or working towards competitions. I combine demonstration, guided practice, and clear problem-solving methods to make lessons engaging and effective. Lessons are usually 30–60 minutes and cover warm-ups, technical exercises, repertoire, and interpretation. I also provide structured practice advice so progress continues between lessons. I hold a Master’s degree with Honours in Piano Studies from the University of York, and have performed in solo recitals and chamber music concerts. I am also a prize-winner of several national piano competitions in China. My lessons are open to all ages and abilities, welcoming complete beginners as well as advanced performers.
