Experienced English tutor specialising in preparing pupils for National 5 and Higher English

With a degree in English Literature , I have been tutoring English for 15 years and have successfully helped many pupils achieve passes and more in both National 5 and Higher English. I enjoy helping pupils gain confidence with reading, writing and language analysis culminating in exam preparation.

I enjoy building a relationship with pupils and watching them grow in confidence and competence as we work through the various aspects of the curriculum which they need support with. This can include reading for understanding, analysis and evaluation (RUAE) plus helping with critical reading and writing.

I generally work online and have developed a bank of resources to use with pupils.
