I am a PGCE-trained Secondary History teacher with experience teaching History across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

I offer friendly, supportive tuition for GCSE and A-Level students, with a particular focus on helping students understand how to turn their historical knowledge into strong exam answers.

I have classroom experience teaching AQA and OCR History, including topics such as Conflict and Tension, Medicine Through Time, Crime and Punishment, Nazi Germany, the Holocaust, the British Empire and twentieth-century Russia.

My lessons are tailored to the individual student. I use clear explanations, modelling, guided practice and targeted questioning to identify gaps in knowledge and help students understand exactly what examiners are looking for.

I am happy to work with students who want to improve their grade, prepare for upcoming mocks or exams, or simply develop greater confidence in the subject.
