Medical Student (Edinburgh) — Biology Tutor, Primary, GCSE to A-Level

I'm currently in year 4 of clinical training as a medical student at the University of Edinburgh, having completed a BSc (Hons) in Medicine at the University of St Andrews. Science has been the backbone of my own education, so tutoring it is something I've done consistently for many years.

My tutoring background:

- Peer tutor for 5 years, throughout high school, supporting students in science and maths
- 4 years as a Kumon tutor, providing support alongside the Kumon curriculum in maths and reading for students across a variety of age groups ranging from 5yrs - 17yrs.

My teaching approach adapts to the student. I can present a concept through multiple methods until it lands, and I can distinguish between a student who needs additional practice and one who requires an alternative explanation. My medical training also allows me to provide greater depth in biology, chemistry, and physiology, where that level of detail is beneficial to the student.
