Advert description
As a recent graduate in psychology, literature and communication, I understand that tutoring is not a one-size-fits-all project. It needs personalised care and attention, which is the kind of approach I take to ensure that students have the best available support from my side. My resources and examples focus on diverse, inclusive learning methodologies from my own experience and what I have learned from my own tutors. I'm especially keen to support students who do not have English as their first language. I have guided municipal students in India to publish their own book and have undertaken informal tutoring during my A Levels in Sociology and English Language, as well as throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. My lessons are for GCE and A Level students, as well as those who are exiting school and looking for support for university applications, CV writing, copywriting and proofreading. I'm looking to replicate a safe space for students where learning is not a burden but a passion that is nurtured in a way that suits them the best. I'm best equipped to teach English along with other subjects within the social sciences and humanities, such as communication, popular culture, sociology and psychology.
