Advert description
As a Children and Young People's Mental Health Practitioner, I provide compassionate, personalised 1:1 support to help children and young people overcome emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgemental space where every young person feels listened to, understood, and supported to thrive.
I have extensive experience working with children and young people with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, low mood, sensory processing differences, and social or emotional difficulties. Every child is unique, so I tailor my support to their individual strengths, needs, and goals, using practical strategies that build emotional resilience, confidence, self-esteem, self-regulation, and healthy relationships.
Alongside my professional experience, I have a personal understanding of neurodiversity, as I have combined-type ADHD (hyperactive and inattentive presentation). This allows me to bring both professional knowledge and genuine empathy to my work, helping children and young people feel accepted, understood, and empowered.
Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation, friendships, school-related stress, confidence, or navigating life with a neurodevelopmental difference, I am committed to helping them develop the skills they need to feel happier, more resilient, and able to reach their full potential.
