Lessons are tailor-made to help you learn. I specialise in classical, flamenco and gypsy jazz guitar and can help both fingers and plectrum playing.

I teach younger ones with an ear-based approach initially before introducing music notation reading with games and challenges.

I have over 20 years of teaching experience in all settings and 25 years of professional playing experience touring domestically and internationally.

I have a dual-camera setup to better see right hand technique and send lesson notes after class so you know exactly what to practise for next time. I also have an archive of sound and video recordings you would have access to help your practice.

Jamie taught my daughter both in person and virtually, and I can't recommend him highly enough. From the start, his patience and ability to connect with her was evident — he clearly knows how to build rapport with young learners and keep them engaged. The results speak for themselves: my daughter made more progress in just 6 months with Jamie than she had in the previous 2.5 years combined. More importantly, she developed a genuine love for playing — something no amount of practice drills can manufacture. Where do I begin! Mr Fekete taught me guitar from the age of around 7 to 16, during this time I can honestly say that the quality of the teaching that i received was second to none. Mr Fekete is an incredible teacher who was able to tailor the lessons to suit me and my own personal goals in learning guitar, as well as adapting how he teaches to suit my learning style. Lessons were always relaxed and fun, with an emphasis on personal development and making the process of learning enjoyable. As aforementioned, I had Mr Fekete as a teacher throughout my childhood and I feel qualified to say that his skill at teaching throughout the years was brilliant, and he is an extremely effective teacher for students of any age.
