Mark Birchall

My students really enjoy their lessons as I tailor them to their tastes and ability level. I put a lot of work into preparing good, fun lessons and I'm always encouraging, patient and positive. I'm super punctual and reliable and have had hundreds of happy students over the years.

I teach multiple instruments to a high standard (piano, guitar, keyboard, drums, banjo) and also music theory and music recording technology and production. A few of my pupils have gone on to get signed to record contracts and many have performed in bands or solo for audiences. I have helped many pupils pass music grades such as ABRSM piano and theory grades (up to Grade 8) and Rock School guitar grades. I have also taught a lot of aspiring musicians who just want to play nice music for their own enjoyment.

My lessons are priced as follows:

30 minutes - £20
45 minutes - £25
1 hour - £30

If you are interested in music production and studio technology lessons, I can help with all aspects of this, including how to use Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) such as Pro Tools which I have been using for over twenty years, audio processing such as Compressors, Equalizers, Gates, Reverbs, Delays, and more complex things such as time stretch/Elastic Audio, Bus/Auxiliary Tracks, Bouncing Files for MP3 etc.

I teach mostly in the Crosby/Formby/Sefton Borough area and have done this successfully for over twenty years with most of my new pupils coming to me through word of mouth recommendations. Email or text me to book your first lesson. Thanks
