Advert description
As a First Class Honours Law graduate and current Bar Training Course and Master's student at Cardiff University, I bring both strong legal knowledge and a genuine passion for helping others succeed academically. Throughout my studies, I have developed a thorough understanding of a wide range of legal subjects, including Contract Law, Criminal Law, Tort, Public Law, Land Law, Equity and Trusts, Human Rights, Family Law, and Evidence. Studying at postgraduate level has further strengthened my analytical thinking, advocacy, and legal research skills, enabling me to break down complex legal concepts into clear, practical explanations that students can easily understand.
I believe in adapting lessons to each individual learner. Every student learns differently, and I believe effective tutoring is about identifying the approach that works best for them.
Rather than encouraging students to memorise legal rules, I focus on helping them understand the underlying principles, develop critical thinking skills, and apply the law confidently to factual scenarios in way that would have found helpful.
I have experience working with students of all ages and abilities, which has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and clear communication.
A typical lesson begins by identifying what the student hopes to achieve and assessing their current understanding of the topic. From there, I explain legal concepts using straightforward language before gradually introducing greater complexity. I encourage active participation throughout the session by asking questions, discussing hypothetical scenarios, and working through problem questions together. This interactive approach allows me to check understanding continuously and ensures students are actively engaging with the material ra
