Novemelia is a Chevening Alumnus at University of Bristol, United Kingdom. She is also a Cambridge certified English teacher as she joined and passed such an intensive CELTA course apart from being a full-time university student. CELTA is Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults that now becomes known as Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. With her skills and experiences, during her time in the UK, she was having a role at Clifton Tots Bristol as an Early Years Educator. Currently, she expands her experience to be part of the Professional Development and Curriculum Enrichment (PDCE) Team for 40 schools under one private educational foundation.

Prior to being a post-graduate student, she was teaching in one of the private schools in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. In 2020, she won two English teaching prizes granted by Ruangguru, the largest education technology start-up in Southeast Asia and Erlangga, the textbook publisher expert in Indonesia. She also loves to extend learning opportunities to little children through volunteering activities.

On scholarship, she graduated cum laude from Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) in Indonesia for her undergraduate study, majoring in Economics Education.
