Advert description
Hello, I am a qualified French tutor with teaching experience in the UK and internationally, and I genuinely enjoy helping students realise that French is not as frightening as it sometimes seems.
I hold a degree in French and a PGCE with QTS, and I work with learners of different ages and abilities. Whether you need help with GCSE French, school homework, speaking practice, grammar, revision, or you simply want to stop giving French the side-eye, I am here to help.
My lessons are friendly, structured and encouraging. I like students to feel relaxed enough to ask questions, make mistakes and have a go, because that is how real progress happens. At the same time, I keep expectations high, so we will work hard, stay focused and keep moving forward together. Friendly, yes. Letting you escape your verbs conjugations, no.
I break topics down into clear steps and explain things in a way that makes sense. We can work on speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation and vocabulary, all at a pace that suits you.
I know every learner is different. Some need confidence, some need challenge, and some just need someone to finally explain what on earth is happening with French grammar. That is where I come in.
My aim is to help you improve, feel proud of your progress and maybe even enjoy French along the way. Yes, it can happen.
If you are looking for a tutor who is patient, motivating, organised and human enough to laugh with you when accents go in the wrong place, I would be delighted to help.
