Hello and welcome. I am a qualified French tutor who believes learning should feel encouraging, enjoyable and much less stressful than people often imagine. I have a degree in French, a PGCE with QTS, and teaching experience in both the UK and internationally. Most importantly, I know how to explain things clearly and help students grow in confidence.

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and built around each learner. Some students come for GCSE support, some want help with speaking or grammar, and some simply want to feel more comfortable with French. Whatever your goal, I will meet you where you are and help you move forward step by step.

I know that many people feel nervous about languages. They worry about getting things wrong, forgetting words or sounding silly when speaking. That is completely normal. My lessons are a safe space to ask questions, make mistakes, learn from them and keep improving.

I like to keep things clear and simple. If something feels difficult, we break it down together until it makes sense. We can work on speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, vocabulary and exam preparation. If French grammar has been confusing you, do not worry, you would not be the first.

My teaching style is warm and supportive, but I also believe in helping students stay focused and make real progress. I will encourage you, challenge you when needed and celebrate the wins along the way.

For me, confidence is just as important as content. Once students start believing they can do it, everything becomes easier. I love seeing that moment when someone who once felt unsure begins to speak more freely and trust themselves.

My aim is simple. I want students to leave each lesson feeling better than when they arrived, more confident, more capable and more positive about learning French.
