I’m a recent First Class History graduate from the University of Oxford, and I’m passionate about helping pupils discover that subjects they find challenging can become subjects they genuinely enjoy. I tutor History and Psychology at GCSE and A-Level, drawing on my own experience of being tutored at Oxford to give students a fresh perspective on learning, revision and tackling difficult material.

I’m a patient, empathetic and approachable tutor who wants every pupil to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and sharing their ideas. I like to make lessons engaging and enjoyable, while sharing a clear plan at the beginning so pupils know what we’re working towards and can see their progress. Most importantly, I want my students to leave each lesson feeling that they have made progress, understand something a little better, and are capable of more than they perhaps thought.
