Advert description
Strong grades do not come from memorising content alone. They come from clarity of thought, structured argument and confident evaluation.
I am a First-Class Criminology graduate and recipient of a Best Dissertation Award (2025). I am now completing postgraduate legal training, which strengthens the analytical precision and disciplined argumentation I bring to every session. My approach is structured, rigorous and focused on measurable academic progress.
I work with GCSE, A-level and undergraduate students in:
Criminology (specialist focus)
Sociology
Politics
Psychology
Although listed under Sociology, I have extensive experience supporting Criminology students in particular, including theory application, research methods, media and crime, policing and punishment, and dissertation guidance.
Parents and students can expect:
• Clear, structured lessons tailored to the exam board
• Explicit focus on mark schemes and assessment objectives
• Development of critical evaluation (AO3 skills)
• Strong essay structure and exam technique
• Regular progress feedback
• Support with organisation and academic confidence
I place emphasis not only on improving grades, but on building independent study skills that support long-term success in sixth form and university.
My aim is simple: to move students from capable to high-performing, with clarity, confidence and consistency.
