Primary English Tutor | Ages 5–11 | Reading, Writing, Grammar & Phonics

Hi! I'm currently studying BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS at the University of Brighton, and I'm passionate about helping primary-aged children grow in confidence with English.

I offer friendly, supportive online English tutoring for children aged 5–11, with lessons adapted to their age, current ability and learning goals.

I can support children with:

- Phonics and early reading
- Reading fluency and comprehension
- Spelling, punctuation and grammar
- Vocabulary and sentence structure
- Creative writing and story planning
- Year 6 SATs English preparation

My approach is patient, encouraging and interactive. I aim to break learning into manageable steps, explain ideas clearly and give children opportunities to practise their skills in a supportive environment.

As a student teacher, I'm developing my understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies. I'll work with parents to understand their child's needs and plan suitable lessons.
