Business lessons for GCSE and IB students, alongside Maths support for GCSE students who want clearer explanations.

I achieved a B in IGCSE Business and a 5 in IB Business and I also studied Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches at Higher Level (AA HL) as part of the IB Diploma Programme. This has given me a strong academic foundation in both Business and Maths, while also helping me understand the demands students face at GCSE, IGCSE and IB level. My lessons would focus on breaking difficult topics into simple, manageable steps and using clear examples to make concepts easier to understand. I would adapt each lesson to the student’s current level, whether they need help understanding theory, improving written answers, strengthening their mathematical skills or preparing for exams whilst making sure they don’t feel bored throughout the whole process. For Business, we can work through practice questions, identify where marks are being lost and focus on structuring stronger responses using the correct terminology. For Maths, I would focus on helping GCSE and IGCSE students understand the method behind each problem rather than simply memorising answers. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, while building the confidence to solve problems independently.
