GCSE/IGCSE Maths Tutor for All Levels Focused on Deep Understanding and Exam Techniques

Hi, I’m Oscar and I tutor IGCSE/GCSE/KS3 Maths to students of all levels. I’m currently in Year 12 taking 4 A-levels including Maths and Further Maths and I achieved a grade 9 in Edexcel IGCSE Maths with 185/200. I focus on helping students understand maths at a deeper level, not just memorising methods, to tackle all types of problems to ensure success. I am patient and help the student step-by-step explaining things in multiple ways until it clicks. I start by finding gaps in the student’s learning and filling in those gaps to solidify knowledge and meet their goals. Lessons include a quick recap, a deep explanation with examples until the student understands the content thoroughly and then questions to lock in the learning. We’ll also cover exam technique, time management and common mark losing mistakes which are important topics. Overall the student will gain better understanding, confidence, and higher grades.
