Hi, I'm Oscar and I tutor IGCSE, GCSE and KS3 Maths to students of all levels. I'm in Year 12 studying four A-levels, including Maths and Further Maths, and I achieved a grade 9 in Edexcel IGCSE Maths (185/200). Having sat these exams recently myself, I know exactly what examiners look for and which topics students find hardest.

I focus on helping students understand maths at a deeper level, not just memorising methods, so they can tackle any type of problem with confidence. I'm patient and explain things step by step, in different ways until it clicks. I remember which topics felt confusing at first, so I know how to explain them in a way that actually makes sense.

I start by finding gaps in a student's knowledge and filling them to build a solid foundation and meet their goals. Each lesson includes a quick recap, a clear explanation with worked examples, and practice questions to lock in the learning.

We'll also cover exam technique, time management and the common mistakes that lose marks. I teach both Foundation and Higher tier across the main exam boards.

After each lesson, I can share a short summary of what we covered and what to practise, so parents can see progress.

Overall, students gain better understanding, more confidence and higher grades.
