About me

I have a very calm, considered approach to my students and their individual needs/abilities. I like to use visual and physical representations of ideas, where necessary, in maths, and enjoy implementing games in order to consolidate children’s understanding. I have a very calm, considered approach to my students and their individual needs/abilities. I like to use visual and physical representations of ideas, where necessary, in maths, and enjoy implementing games in order to consolidate children’s understanding. At the same time, I hole much value to practising exam-style questions for those children preparing for SATs. This way, their strengths and areas for improvement can be easily identified and worked on.

I’m a qualified Primary Teacher, currently teaching in Year 6. I have an excellent understanding not only of the curriculum but of current best-practise and pedagogy.
