I achieved an A* at A level in Sociology and I'm currently in my third year studying Sociology at university, where I am on track for a 2:1. Having recently completed exams and now studying the subject at a higher level, I understand both what examiners are looking for and how sociological theory connects to wider academic debate.

My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to your specific goals. At the beginning we will identify areas you want to approve , whether that's understanding key sociological perspectives and theories, mastering research methods or improving your grades. Each session is focused and purposeful.

I have a strong understanding of the AQA exam board, however if you are using a different exam board with the same topics I can teach, I am happy to research the the one that you use.

I place a strong emphasis on essay writing and exam technique, helping you interpret command words, structure answers, use terminology confidently, and develop balanced evaluations. I'll show you how to move from descriptive answers to analytical responses.

My aim is to help you not only improve your grade but to help you feel genuinely confident in your understanding of Sociology.
