As an Aerospace Engineering student at Queen Mary University of London with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Economics, I have developed exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills which I now aim to use to help students achieve their full academic potential. I am highly adaptable in the way I teach and understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons specifically to each individual’s level of understanding, pace, and academic goals. As a visual learner myself, I place strong emphasis on breaking down complex concepts into clear, intuitive explanations using diagrams, structured notes, worked examples, and visual methods that make difficult topics far easier to understand.
My lessons are conducted interactively using online note-taking and drawing platforms such as OneNote, where each student receives their own personalised workspace containing lesson notes, explanations, examples, and worked solutions which they can revisit independently between sessions. I focus heavily not only on understanding theory, but on ensuring students know how to effectively apply what they learn in exam conditions through specification-focused teaching, exam question practice, and structured problem-solving techniques. I am patient, supportive, encouraging, and comfortable teaching students of all ability levels — whether that is a student struggling with core concepts and needing long-term support, or a high-performing student requiring targeted help on specific topics shortly before exams.
To ensure the highest quality of teaching and preparation, I ask students to provide at least two days’ notice regarding the topics they would like to cover so that lessons can be properly structured and tailored to their needs. Alternatively, for students seeking full course support, I can provide comprehensive syllabus-wide tutoring with a structured long-term teaching plan designed around their exam timeline, current level of competence, and academic targets.
My ultimate goal is simple: I do not teach students to memorise methods — I teach them to truly understand what they are learning so they can solve problems independently, confidently, and at the highest level possible.
