I usually cover a range of topics in my lessons to increase vocabulary and will happily cover any particular topics a student wants to learn.
Conversational English is good for university, jobs and travel and is a good starting place for students and we can cover local language too.
I also teach grammar, including reading and writing. This could be a mix of textbooks or general reading (a good story always helps to maintain interest!)
I have lived around the world and had to learn other languages myself, so I understand the challenges of learning language, listening and trying to gain the confidence to join the conversation. For beginners and intermediate students, I will slow down and simplify my language to make it easier to understand…before we progress on to a more fluent style.
